Davin Scites Finishes 9th in the  Mid-Atlantic Championship 350 at Caraway

Caraway -"In qualifying the car broke loose both laps so we ended up close to the back with a 18.01. But we also knew we had to make it better if we wanted to win. For the heat race we found out we did not have the right gear for the race and needed to make it better."

"Sunday race day we changed four springs, the gear and track bar. We started on the tail of the 36 car field. The car was still too tight so around lap 20 we came in and put a spring rubber in. On around lap 60 we came in and put another spring rubber in."

"We constantly had to start on the tail each time and staying on the lead lap. At lap 125, the half way break, we changed the right rear spring and lowered the track bar and put two new right side tires on and gas. Kim Adkins, Patrick McGarey, Wayne Ingram, and Dave Ingram did a great job in the pits with all the changes we made. Alan Rohrig did a great job spotting and my Dad Jack Scites scored.

The car Wasn't perfect but we hated to give up track position with another adjustment. So we were as high as 7th but my car was better on the long runs and ended up 9th. We will take it."
