(3-21-06)  Davin Scites, a native of West Virginia, is a driver that has been described as being "pure energy and excitement" when it comes to racing.  Davin was the only rookie to win a race in the 2003 season in ASA.  Last season Davin ran his first ARCA Remax race and finished 6^th.  Davin has moved a step closer to his dream by being chosen as one of the top-50 for Racin’ For a Livin’.    

Asked on how he feels after being accepted, “I am excited and relieved.  To have the chance and opportunity to make the show is fantastic.  You are excited and relieved both to know you have been chosen and having the possibility to be one of the top 12 and be on the show is awesome.   It’s very exciting that the fans get the opportunity to vote their driver in and to be involved in the show. This is going to take a team effort of all my fans and followers and everyone who likes racing and believes in me and believes I can make it.  It will be a team effort to do this and to get into the top 12.  But I’m ready for it.”  Scites replied smiling. 

Racin’ for a Livin’ is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to receive seven fully sponsored rides in a NASCAR Busch Series car in the 2007 season. Created by veteran open-wheel racer Jerry VanDenHul, the series will kick-off using direct Internet voting to select the twelve participants. Voters can view the potential rookie drivers, learn about their background, and use Internet video to learn why they are chasing their dreams of NASCAR glory.
